Proverbs 3:13-35      New Living Translation

13 Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,

    the one who gains understanding.

14 For wisdom is more profitable than silver,

and her wages are better than gold.

15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies;

nothing you desire can compare with her.

16 She offers you long life in her right hand,

and riches and honor in her left.

17 She will guide you down delightful paths;

    all her ways are satisfying.

18 Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her;

happy are those who hold her tightly.

19 By wisdom the Lord founded the earth;

by understanding he created the heavens.

20 By his knowledge the deep fountains of the earth burst forth,

and the dew settles beneath the night sky.

21 My child, don’t lose sight of common sense and discernment.

    Hang on to them,

22 for they will refresh your soul.

They are like jewels on a necklace.

23 They keep you safe on your way,

and your feet will not stumble.

24 You can go to bed without fear;

you will lie down and sleep soundly.

25 You need not be afraid of sudden disaster

or the destruction that comes upon the wicked,

26 for the Lord is your security.

He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap.

27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it

when it’s in your power to help them.

28 If you can help your neighbor now, don’t say,

“Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.”

29 Don’t plot harm against your neighbor,

for those who live nearby trust you.

30 Don’t pick a fight without reason,

when no one has done you harm.

31 Don’t envy violent people

    or copy their ways.

32 Such wicked people are detestable to the Lord,

but he offers his friendship to the godly.

33 The Lord curses the house of the wicked,

but he blesses the home of the upright.

34 The Lord mocks the mockers

but is gracious to the humble.

35 The wise inherit honor,

but fools are put to shame!

After the postscript:

I am going to try to be brief here because I am not sure how much data I have to write with on this page.

Anyway, I have been wearing a watch on my arm since I was about ten. At maybe eighteen I started wearing Seiko's though, as opposed to Timex. A few years later when I went to a Seminary in California, I happened to pass a jewelry store where the owner had decided to get rid of his safe's many Bulova Accutron Watches. So, as I am looking at this window full of older watches, I noticed that there were a few w which were solid Gold.

Well, I go in the store and told the owner that I was interested in buying a particular watch. Then he explained that he had no idea that a few of the watches were solid gold. I recall them being like half off, but these were priced in the sixties. Nonetheless, I only paid 165.00 for a gold watch which I wore for maybe twenty years Then maybe fifteen years ago, I bought a Titanium Seiko. Titanium is a hard metal, yet it is as light almost as aluminum.

I wouldn't want another watch; you can barely tell that it is on your arm and is as accurate as a watch can be. It is all silver and has kept its luster for years. Well, I think I do adjust a few seconds every couple of years, but normally I can find the time.

From Google:

Titanium vs. aluminum: similarities and differences

Titanium is lighter than steel but heavier than aluminum. While it's stronger than aluminum, its higher density means it's generally not lighter for the same volume. When comparing strength-to-weight ratios, titanium often comes out on top, meaning you can achieve the same strength with less titanium than aluminum or steel, making it lighter in certain applications.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Density:

Titanium has a density of 4.5 g/cm³, aluminum is 2.7 g/cm³, and steel is around 7.8-8 g/cm³. This means aluminum is significantly lighter than both titanium and steel.

Strength:

Titanium is much stronger than aluminum and can be stronger than some steels.

Strength-to-weight ratio:

Titanium often provides the best strength-to-weight ratio, meaning it can be used in thinner, lighter structures while maintaining strength.

Anyway, I swear, I don't know how these preachers do it. Like I was watching a conference last week, and I swear almost every preacher had a watch that must have cost anywhere from twenty, thirty thousand, to maybe a quarter million dollars.

Well, I am thinking "Those things got to be heavy, but they are my 'brothers.'"

I mean, they say they are, so I gotta believe them?

When I was about fifteen or sixteen, I walked into a Sears Outlet, in Detroit, and I bought this thing called an "Astronaut Pen." well, it folds up the size of half a pen and you can wear it in your front pants pockets, and they will never spill ink because the refills are pressurized. You can use the thing to write upside down, over grease, on almost anything. I think you can even write with them in the dark if you have a flashlight or something, as well.

But seriously, I have never been without a Fisher Space pen since I was like sixteen. Then a few years later, I started carrying a Mini Box Cutter Knife and it was light as a feather. Maybe an inch and a half by a third inch diameter.

But years later, I found out that these little tools were considered "EDC," or "Everyday Carry," items and there has been a whole industry of such things for decades. But over the years, I had added a few other things that are just very helpful to me in order to be equipped for some days when you least expect an emergency to come along.

For example, right now I have a small keyring that has a Space Pen, a really small flashlight that will light up an entire Cul de sac or front facade of a house and the thing is less than an inch by two inches. I keep a couple of Thumb Drives, one is normally empty while the other holds like the Bible, Old and new, probably forty or so sermons, as well, as some other personal data that I may need to copy or scan or whatever the case. Both combined are about an inch and a half, by 3/4 inch by a quarter inch. They hold like 32 GBs, but if I need to, I can switch to a thumb drive just a tad larger which will hold a terabyte of data. Nonetheless, normally I don't need to carry my neighborhood library with me, so I leave that one at home.

I have a few small Titanium Pill vials which I can interchange according to the meds that I may want to carry with me. Generally, it is less than an inch by a half inch diameter. And instead of the little Stanly Box Cutter, I now carry a 2 1/2 inch flipper knife which holds scalpel knife blades. These are much quicker to open packages, tear up cardboard, cut Zip Ties, or to cut through ropes or tags when shopping.

Nevertheless, the whole thing fits in my front left pocket and is seldom even felt.

But you see these things define me, as I have always worked and always have kept myself resourceful for whatever may come my way. I have also bought and carried particular Army knives, and small tools. Generally, I carried an air compressor in my trunk when I was driving and still have one at home. One of the most useful tools in which I have needed and use consistently is a small pair of Needle Nose Vice Grips.

This one tool has saved me from numerous situations, and I don't care how many Multi Tools, you have or swear by this is definitely one of the most functional tools that you will ever need. Also, you don't have to carry a huge Multi Tool assortment, as I have done in the past. With a small Army knife, a small adjustable wrench, and a good pair of Needle nose Vice grips, they will cover most common issues. Or at least for my needs.

Nonetheless, technology has made it today, so that you can buy for less than seventy or fifty dollars an Air Compressor which is not much bigger than a number of 10,000 or 20,000 maH battery bank and will fill all four tires of your car. They are also self-contained units that hold their own batteries, as well.

In other words, if someone let the air out of all four tires in your car, you could pull this thing out of the pocket of your Brooks Brothers Blazer and fill up all four tires before having to recharge it again.

Well, I mention these things because recently I started looking at a couple of EDC things on Amazon. Well, sure as can be, the next few days my "You Tube," pages are filled with all these gadgets and EDC bags and things. Great knives as well.

My goodness, I never imagined how much the industry has grown. Nonetheless, I bought an EDC Bag or something and it was also a Military Technical Bag or pouch. (That's where you really find some neat stuff, the Military Tech.)

Nevertheless, it had a place where you could put a Badge, as they make multitudes of patches for these bags and pouches. Many are simply hook and loop, so you just have to stick to the Velcro on the bag.

Well, I recalled hearing about the Pine Tree Flag and thought that it would make a great badge on my pouch.

Following taken from "Google:"

It became the maritime flag of Massachusetts in 1776 and remained so until 1971, he said. According to Americanflags.com the pine tree on the flag symbolized strength and resilience in the New England colonies while the words “Appeal to Heaven” stemmed from the belief that God would deliver the colonists from tyranny.May 23, 2024

Well, I got my badge and slapped it on my new bag, and I couldn't be happier with it.

Nonetheless, I don't know why I am telling you all my story, but I was inspired tonight. As I stated earlier, I generally do not watch TV a lot. Nonetheless, tonight I turned on a movie from my "Sling," or MGM, channel and it was definitely one of the best movies that I have ever watched.

You have got to watch it.

And especially if you are a "Patriot."

Or for that matter a believer of "Good triumphing over Evil."

It was called, "The Last Castle."

The movie starring Robert Redford, concerning a military prison, is titled The Last Castle.

This 2001 action drama features Robert Redford as Lieutenant General Eugene Irwin, a highly decorated U.S. Army officer who is court-martialed and imprisoned in "The Castle," a maximum-security military prison. There, he butts heads with the facility's autocratic warden, Colonel Winter, played by James Gandolfini. Irwin eventually leads a revolt of the inmates against Winter's harsh and corrupt rule.

Lastly, I am not sure I have room for this on yesterdays paper, therefore I will start a new web page.

Hope you enjoy the movie!

As it is, this has been her major problem, she cannot get a legal Texas Id, which would then make her eligible for all kinds of benefits which would allow her to seek more Social Security help, as well, as help with "Food Stamps," and aid to pay for her prescriptions which are right now demanding a hell of a lot more than in the past. I believe that her total inco che from S.S. has been less than eight thousand dollars a month for the last ten or so years.

You see, I have always told the Lord, if you want me to give a particular offering or person a financial blessing, then please tell me.

Well, I spent a little time last week with some brothers from a "Faith Convention," and they must have rubbed off on me.

I was at a Bus Stop the other day and this young Black woman was having difficulty in crossing the street because she happened to have two beautiful little children with her. So, I was going to walk in the middle of the road and to yield the cars with my hand in order for her to cross the street. Nonetheless, as the cars were stopped for a crossing light ahead, more and more were forced to stop so she was given time to cross finally.

It also was beginning to rain and that was why I chose that sheltered stop to wait. Well, a few minutes later the bus came, but not before she was able to share with me how difficult it was to pick up her children after work from the Day Care where she had just come from.

Well, we both got on the bus, and she had sat before me a few rows down from me. So, as I was sitting there thinking of the hardships that young single Mother's must go through, I felt as if I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to give her one of the hundred-dollar bills which I had in my wallet.

So, immediately I went in my wallet to pull out a hundred and then I walked a few rows down and slipped it to her. Then I ask if she was a Christian and told her that it didn't matter, but that I had felt as if Jesus had asked me to give that to you.

Next, I was checking my phone and maybe ten minutes later when I looked up they had already gotten off the bus. "Bless God," I thought.

First let me explain that I seldom carry that much money in my wallet. Normally, I just use my ATM card for most things or a credit card when I have to.

Somehow, money seems to go to fast, so it's less an ugly sight when I just put it on a card. It doesn't help you any better for your finances, but psychologically there is less pain.

Is there anyone who can relate to that?

Nevertheless, the reason why I had two-hundred-dollar bills on me was because my "Landlady," or the lady that I have paid to rent a room from in an apartment complex is in the worst stages of some serious illnesses.

She has lived in the past as many non-believers have and has had a few "common law" husbands. Unfortunately during those times she had taken their names, yet never had done it through the courts.

Well, the thing has become a mess for her. She has one name for a Birth Certificate, another name for a Social Security Card, another for some other Id's, yet none match.

For years, she had tried to get help, but none were able to help her, most agencies just don't have the time so they dismiss her before they can do anything.

Finally, when the whole thing was recently brought to my mind, I told her, "Look, you have never changed your name legally, so you need to go to S.S. and explain that the name they are using to give you benefits is not a legal name and then tell them that you need the name aligned with your Birth Certificate" which is like one of the only other forms of Id accepted by most agencies. And then that would allow her to get a legal Texas ID. Or so I thought.

I believe that her total income from S.S. is less than eight thousand dollars a year. And has been for the last ten or so years.

Anyway, I just wanted to explain why I was holding two-hundred-dollar bills in my wallet.

So, anyway the day after I gave that young lady one of my "landladies," hundred-dollar bills from the money she gave me to pay for her meds, I received an Email from my brother for two thousand dollars. You see, he has been the only source in which I have received in this life for my endeavors in Christ.

I thank God for him!

And so, after thinking about the whole thing today, I realize that perhaps I have been a little too hard on these "Prosperity Preachers," maybe all those stories are true. Nevertheless, I made up my mind today, from now on I am going to start sowing huge amounts to people who have needed help in purchasing a new Private Jet, or a new Rolls Royce, or perhaps a new ten-million-dollar annex on their ministry in order to open new classes, so that they can indoctrinate the sheepfold more fully.

Can you understand what I am saying?

This way before long I will perhaps be walking around with a three-pound watch on my wrist?

Of course, on the other hand I was reminded of a few years ago when I had decided to go back to a ministry school. You see, I was longing for the fellowship of a tangible group of brothers and sisters who were sincerely longing to fellowship with one another through Jesus, as in my encounters first walking as a Christian and being drawn into a community of people who sincerely loved Christ.

Anyway, the "Leader," (a Prosperity leader who is known widely as a manipulator of individuals,) happened to preach a number of sermons and I ended up sending that ministry over three thousand dollars that previous year, before I realized that I had all along been deceived.

I believe this man knowing of my intentions to move there was encouraging me to sow much in his ministry.

In looking back I believe that my motives were completely wrong, and my ultimate goal was to manipulate God for greater wealth which would allow me to fulfill my personal desire to move and to become a functioning part of that "ministry."

Well, soon after I had made such personal financial decisions, I was made aware that it had never been God's will for me to become a part of that man's "ministry."

In "truth," I don't believe that God has given me any return on the money which I feel I was manipulated out of.

You see, God will let us do almost anything foolishly and that way we can learn by our mistakes.

I am reminded of a fellow who sold his house, packed up his family and moved to a town in Missouri from out East. When he was enlightened of the corrupt status of the almost "Cult," he turned on the messenger, and took the stance of those "cult type leaders," the messenger was "filled with Satan," he was told. He needed to be "shunned," and kicked out of the community, although they were afraid to do it for years. Besides the money he had lost in moving the family there to "paradise." the communities "Real Estate," partner had also cost him a ten-thousand-dollar loss by filing wrong papers or something.

But you see God allows us to have persecutions and by our "sufferings," we grow in maturity and in Christ.

Nevertheless, I am still missing the "Car Shows," in which I was hoping to attend at that ministry. You know, they hold one about every three or four months, I believe. This is where all of their leaders gather together and show off the many Antique or Classic Cars they purchase in their ongoing crusades for Christ.

Also, these are the greatest things that most of them will "sow" into in order to be repaid back either thirty, sixty or even a hundred-fold.

Actually, after writing this paper, perhaps I am not going to start sowing into all of these great leaders' material pursuits?

Maybe, I'll just keep sowing into unwed Mothers, the elderly, and those who are not recognized by the churches as having any kind of personal worth, since they have no resources to repay with.

What do you all think?

The scripture that speaks about sharing a shirt with someone in need is Luke 3:11. In this verse, John the Baptist instructs, "Whoever has two tunics should share with the one who has none, and whoever has food should do the same". This highlights the importance of generosity and sharing with those less fortunate.

Luke 3:11    New Living Translation

11 John replied, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.”

Postscript:

So, after I told her to go into Social Security and to be honest with them and to tell them that legally the name they are paying her under is technically not a real name, she was basically told. "Oh yes it is, it is the name that you gave us when you applied for it, so that is the name we recognise for you.

So, I was thinking, "She just needs to go to SS be honest and tell them that the name she used really doesn't exist except in her mind," but the clerk would have no part of it. You know, I think that it might cause him to file extra paper work, so he tells her, "Meet the real you."

Typical government worker from the party that gave you the "studious disciples" of the Democrat party. One might even be so bold as to call them "lazy good for nothing government workers," but it wouldn't be me for goodness sake!

Matthew 25:31-46      New Living Translation

The Final Judgment

31 “But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’

37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’

41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. 42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. 43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

44 “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

45 “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’

46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

Grafted In Bible Study, Lesson 1. - Judeo-Christian Clarion

The passage in the Bible where Paul explains the concept of Gentiles being grafted into the olive tree, representing the inclusion of Gentiles into the people of God, is Romans 11:17-24. In this passage, Paul uses the analogy of an olive tree, where some of the natural branches (representing Jewish people) have been broken off due to unbelief, and wild olive branches (representing Gentiles) have been grafted in.

Romans 11:17-24   New Living Translation

17 But some of these branches from Abraham's tree-some of the people of Israel-have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God's special olive tree. 18 But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root.

19 "Well," you may say, "those branches were broken off to make room for me." 20 Yes, but remember-those branches were broken off because they didn't believe in Christ, and you are there because you do believe. So don't think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen. 21 For if God did not spare the original branches, he won't spare you either.

22 Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off. 23 And if the people of Israel turn from their unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God has the power to graft them back into the tree. 24 You, by nature, were a branch cut from a wild olive tree. So if God was willing to do something contrary to nature by grafting you into his cultivated tree, he will be far more eager to graft the original branches back into the tree where they belong.

Sermon link     https://youtu.be/vjqeENU0j_k

A few months ago, I was made aware of two well-known figures in the "media world," and each one of them were spouting anti-Semitic hatred through their media platforms.

Well, normally I would not be surprised, yet both of these "personalities," are very well known, yet they were claiming to be "Christians."

And so, it sickened me, yet over the years, I have seen all forms of ignorant and evil men to declare that they are "Christians."

I believe that the church is partly responsible in many cases. Here in America the church has given the impression to many former and present church go-ers or religious that all you have to do to become a Christian is to enter a church, wait for the altar call from some guy wearing a backward collar and then to repeat or mimic the "words," that he tells you to confess.

Well, could I submit to you that it really is just a tad harder than that in order to become a "Christian." I mean, I have only been trying to achieve the "status," for almost fifty years, yet I still find myself falling short. Nevertheless, these two media personalities are so confident in their status as "Christians," that both are preaching new church doctrine that defies the honor and the recognition in which the Lord God has given to Israel for hundreds of centuries. It is all detailed in the Holy Bible in which God has given for the "revelation," of what was, what is and of what is to come for the human race.

Of course, there is a slight paradoxical application to his gift, "You see, you have to have the sense enough to read it."

So anyway, when I heard about this inane propaganda in which these two nincompoops were spouting, I had to listen for myself. Sure enough, I turn on the gentleman and listened for a few minutes to some argument that he was having with another media personality. He was anti-Israel, and then I heard him make a statement, such as "Well, I am a Christian..."

Being reminded of that old saying I use to hear as a new believer, let me recall it for you.

"You know, you can stand in a garage for ten years, nonetheless, that will not define you as a 'Car.'"

Nonetheless, that wasn't my thought when I heard him, my thoughts were the passages I posted by the apostle Paul in Romans.

Again, they are as follows:

So, in other words, I was thinking that these two personalities don't have a clue as to what a follower of Jesus is. These two personalities have 'no idea," what a Christian is.

I mean, it would be as if there were two people who had Sur-names such as "Dumb," and "Dumber." yet both proclaimed that our families had never acknowledged or recognized our heritage or Grandfathers.

"Why we never had any Grandfathers, yet my name is 'Tucker Dumb,' and this is my cousin 'Candace Dumber.'"

Well, you see, I could have responded much sooner to the ignorance, but then I would've had to do a lot of "Theological research," and all of that, but to be quite honest with you I am one of the laziest theologians.

Instead, I thought, "I will respond in time."

And then of course, after you spend hours researching for all the right scriptures and present your argument, then the other guys come right back at you with their own 'twisted,' scriptures to prove their complete nonsense all over again.

"Well, Homey don't play those games my brother and sister."

Anyway, the following is a great link if you would like to learn a few things 'theologically."

"Kudos." for this brother who is a studious disciple and must have a whole lot more patience than me.

I hope this "Blesses," you all!

Psalm 137 specifically speaks about the Israelites' inability to sing in their land during the Babylonian exile. In Psalm 137:4, they ask, "How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land?". This verse expresses their grief and longing for Jerusalem, their homeland, while in captivity.

The Israelites, exiled and separated from their temple and land, felt it was inappropriate to sing the Lord's songs in a foreign land. They were under the control of their captors and in a state of mourning for their lost home. The request from their captors to sing songs of Zion felt like a mockery of their sorrow. The Psalm highlights the deep connection between worship, the land of Israel, and the Israelites' spiritual identity.

Psalm 137    New Living Translation

1 Beside the rivers of Babylon, we sat and wept

    as we thought of Jerusalem.

2 We put away our harps,

hanging them on the branches of poplar trees.

3 For our captors demanded a song from us.

Our tormentors insisted on a joyful hymn:

“Sing us one of those songs of Jerusalem!”

4 But how can we sing the songs of the Lord

    while in a pagan land?

5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem,

let my right hand forget how to play the harp.

6 May my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth

if I fail to remember you,

if I don’t make Jerusalem my greatest joy.

7 O Lord, remember what the Edomites did

on the day the armies of Babylon captured Jerusalem.

“Destroy it!” they yelled.

    “Level it to the ground!”

8 O Babylon, you will be destroyed.

Happy is the one who pays you back

for what you have done to us....
