John 8:31-32 New Living Translation
31 Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. 32 And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
The following five links are from some church services that I attended online. They were all very good sermons and the reason why I am posting them is for the benefit of the many 'Religious individuals' who are either Christian or believe themselves to be, yet have never ever wandered or investigated another Christian church to see if perhaps the Holy Spirit, might be saying something different in the other parts of the "body of Christ."
"I am sorry, could you repeat that?"
"Oh, oh, I said, "The Holy Spirit," you can read about Him in the New Testament part of the "Holy Bible."
"What, could you repeat that?"
"Oh, that's that book in the back of the pew that is directly in front of your pew."
"Yea, that's the one!"
"Yes, right next to the 'songbook.'"
Anyway, I don't see how someone can claim to be a follower of Jesus and then never ever step outside of your chosen denomination or church whether it be a little woodframe church in a small neighborhood or a huge massive denominational structure where they have great Liturgical celebrations.
Well, did you know that many people are actually afraid to go beyond the only church doors that they know. Then of course there are those others who feel as if they should perhaps miss a Sunday service then someone is liable to sit in their particular pew which has been in the family for over five generations and never once had another buttocks take up space on their 'rightfully claimed,' box seat section.
Yes, these are for you, just in case you might feel like stepping out in "Faith," so therefore you too, might make it into the eleventh Chapter of Hebrews where they list "the Hall of Faith," members of the "faithful through the ages."
So, again, let me reassure you that these are all innocent sermons and none carry any sort of heretical doctrine that might challenge your expert traditional knowledge of the "Word of God," or of the "Godhead."

AI Overview
The eleventh chapter of Hebrews is famously known as the "Hall of Faith" or the "Faith Chapter", because it lists numerous Old Testament figures who lived by faith and provides a powerful description of faith as "the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). It serves as a testament to perseverance and trust in God, highlighting heroes like Abel, Noah, Abraham, and Moses.
Key aspects of Hebrews 11:
Definition of Faith: It begins by defining faith as confidence in God's promises and evidence for unseen realities.
Examples of Faith: It recounts stories of biblical heroes who trusted God through impossibilities and hardships, from Abel's offering to Israel crossing the Red Sea.
Faith in Action: The chapter emphasizes that faith isn't just belief but involves active obedience and enduring trust, as seen in the repeated phrase "by faith".
Inspiration for Endurance: Its purpose is to encourage readers to live with similar faith and endurance in their own lives.
"Aww, I'm just having some fun with a few "traditionalists," if I make em too mad then they won't want to listen to these richly spoken sermons for today's church."

Gateway Church
Nevertheless, what I would like to point out was that the Lord gave me a few "You Tube," clips and I believe that he wished for me to post them.
Well, after Pastor Dilena quoted one of the statistics concerning the dropout rate of Pastors for today's church, I felt even more confident in what I believed that God had asked me to do.
Before, I mention those, however, I would like to point out another sermon that I wish every reader would listen to, from the sermon links stated above.
First, let me say that the sermon that I believe God would like everyone to listen too, is the one from "Gateway Church."
And I am not even suggesting that you need to listen to the whole sermon. Nevertheless, please listen to the first ten minutes of the sermon that you may hear how this Church blessed the various ministries and needful people across the Metro plex of cities. That includes the three major cities of Dallas, Fort Worth and Arlington, as well, as many other surrounding cities and individuals I would guess.
But what I would like you to "glean" from just ten minutes of the service was how that they were able to "Bless," multitudes with a multitude of "blessings."
Nevertheless, more importantly, what I wish for you to notice was how that all of this was accomplished by the church taking one day, of the year, and all coming together for that one day with a sole purpose of helping all types of individuals or churches which had needs around their city.
I just went back and saw again what the church gave toward this particular "New Testament," event.
You see, why I call it a "New Testament," event is because what this church did was very similar to what the Early church did as recorded in the Bible.
Following from Google AI:
AI Overview
The New Testament records at least two primary, prominent examples where the early church took up a significant, collective offering to support believers suffering from basic needs, specifically a major famine.
Key Examples
Relief for Judea (Acts 11:27-30): The primary example of a collection specifically in response to a prophesied natural disaster (a severe famine under Emperor Claudius) involved the church in Antioch. The disciples there, "each according to his ability, decided to provide help for the brothers living in Judea". This was a deliberate, communal effort to send relief to another geographic region, which they did by sending their gift with Paul and Barnabas to the elders in Jerusalem.
The "Jerusalem Collection" (1 & 2 Corinthians, Romans): The largest attested fundraising effort by the early Christian communities was the extensive collection organized by the Apostle Paul among various Gentile churches (including those in Galatia, Corinth, Macedonia, and Achaia) to aid the "poor saints" in Jerusalem. This was not in response to a single, acute natural disaster but rather an ongoing, widespread need among the Jerusalem believers, potentially exacerbated by localized food shortages and persecution. Paul dedicated several chapters in his letters to organizing, encouraging, and explaining this "contribution for the poor" (Romans 15:25-26; 1 Corinthians 16:1-4; 2 Corinthians 8 and 9), emphasizing principles of cheerful, proportional, and voluntary giving.
General Principles
Beyond these large-scale, inter-church efforts, the New Testament emphasizes a general commitment to meeting the basic needs of fellow believers and the poor:
Communal Sharing (Acts 2:44-45; Acts 4:32-35): The earliest church in Jerusalem practiced a radical form of sharing where members sold possessions and property and brought the money to the apostles' feet to be distributed to anyone who had a need, ensuring "that there were no needy persons among them".
Care for Widows (1 Timothy 5:3-16): The church was instructed to establish a system for financially supporting eligible widows who had no family to care for them.
These examples highlight a strong biblical precedent for organized, compassionate, and generous financial support within the Christian community for those experiencing suffering or basic needs.
Well, my whole point in writing this is not to celebrate the fact, that finally we found a "Leader," or a 'Church," who made a decision to obey the simple examples which have been laid down in the Bible for over two thousand years.
No, my intent in writing this is to expose at least the four decades in which I have been "preaching," to the "Spirit Filled Churches," that this was the way in which God had commanded the Church to walk in,
therefore, "Why did they deliberately ignore the scriptures, as well, as my many exhortations to give other than to themselves?"
You see, I spent something like seventeen years in and all around that whole area while visiting multitudes of churches and ministries. Nevertheless, I don't recall one church ever doing anything such as was done last week in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
I only saw church after church competing against each other for a greater per centage of the "market share." And I believe that that is a much better descriptive "phrase," than most others.
Nevertheless, I couldn't count all of the hundreds of times in the past where I either insinuated or spoke loudly that "all the American church has done was to take, take, take from the 'little people,' and to never give back."
This is what these "You Tube," links are saying and who am I to argue when I was right there witnessing it?
Don't you think that it's time for a redefined purpose for the church.
Well, I do, and perhaps after you watch some of these clips, you might also "get the revelation."
Well, this is why I believe that God has aligned these "You Tube," clips which I am posting below.
I believe that it would please God if every single soul in the CHURCH would listen to these, that they may learn from our past mistakes.
Next, let me say, that the author of these clips, is or was a Harvard Professor, and in his spare time, he sells Tee shirts, with the statement, "Proud American Liberal."
In other words, I am posting his clips because they are probably accurate in terms of statistical information concerning the loss of churches, why leaders have made mistakes historically, but when it comes to his perceptions on the "Spiritual phenomenon," and other factors that all should be included when discerning the success or failure of particular ministries.....well, I wouldn't put a whole lot of "faith," in his wisdom.
In one of his clips, he begins it by blaming Oral Roberts as the initiator of this Mega Massive buildup of churches.
Well, Oral Roberts was one of the first, I suppose as a mass evangelist of donations, though Oral did not whittle away millions on himself or on wasted efforts. The man built a school and an empire that today is still spreading the gospel message in an even greater way than when he was raising funds to do it. Furthermore, he ought to be given an even greater report because his legacy will still be doing it when Jesus comes back.
What a legacy that would be, don'tcha think?
Therefore, what I am suggesting is that when you take into account all of the facts stated in these You Tube Clips, please understand that there may be some prejudice or ignorance.
Once again, I am reminded of my former mentor, who when speaking about certain "Religious," had a wonderful saying.
He would say, "Why them people wouldn't recognize the "Holy Ghost," if he came dancing down the middle aisle in a 'Top Hat and Tails.'"
You know, it was pretty colorful saying, as I could imagine Fred Astaire, coming down the aisle dancing with Ginger Rodgers on his arm, and then when you look over at the visitor, he was in a back pew scratching his head, thinking, "Well, that looks like 'Fred Astaire,' but I can't be certain?"
"He's only four feet two inches?"

One thousand Pastors quit
Also, lastly, I want to point out that I am not posting these to expose any Pastors or leaders, I am posting these because of the extraordinary wealth which was just flitted away as if God can just print billions and billions of dollars for His church leadership.
To which I will add, the Lord can do that, but he can't just duplicate the many billions of dollars that were taken from his children who he intended for that money to go.
You see, that would make Him a counterfeiter, to which I can assure you God is not. Nevertheless, He is a very Holy God and He exist because of the laws of the universe which demand "Justice," for every little jot and tittles that happen in this life.
So, what I am saying is that one day, "Everything will be accounted for in a very just and righteous manner."
If you stand before the Lord and you are no different in deed, thought and action as a common thief or embezzler to his children's wealth, well then you will be rewarded as a common thief used to be in this life.
You know, when we had real judges and prosecutors!
And people or a society which could make righteous judgments.

Why the Megachurch Era Is Ending: The Untold Story Behind America's Big Pastors
Lastly, I will end with this, I have never felt more ashamed for the human race as I have this past week. It seems that we have a couple of very strange and perverted cases of cold blooded murder happening in our court systems, but apparently society has fallen so far from understanding the standards of 'righteousness,' that the whole country has been "befuddled."
Let me give you one example.
There is a man being charged with murder in our "Court System," but the newspapers, the media anchors, the Social Media divas or whatever you call them can't seem to weigh the possibility that he may have killed his wife.
I mean, the following is a concise account of what is going on:
From Google AI:
AI Overview
The person on trial for the murder and dismemberment of his wife, Ana Walshe, after seeking Google advice on body disposal is Brian Walshe.
Key Circumstances of the Case
The Victim and Disappearance: Ana Walshe, a real estate executive and mother of three, disappeared on New Year's Day 2023 from the family's home in Cohasset, Massachusetts. Her body has never been found.
The Charges: Brian Walshe is currently on trial for first-degree murder. He has already pleaded guilty to the lesser charges of misleading police and improper conveyance of a body (disposing of the remains).
The Google Searches: A significant part of the prosecution's case is the extensive, "grisly" internet search history on Brian Walshe's devices, which began in the early morning hours of January 1, 2023, and continued for several days. The searches included phrases like:
"how do you dispose of a body?"
"10 ways to dispose of a dead body if you really need to"
"dismemberment and best ways to dispose of a body"
"hacksaw best tool to dismember"
"can you throw away body parts"
"how long before a body starts to smell"
"how to clean blood from wooden floor" and "is it better to throw crime scene clothes away or wash them?"
Physical Evidence: Prosecutors also presented evidence of Brian Walshe purchasing numerous cleaning supplies, a hacksaw, a hatchet, a Tyvek suit, and other items consistent with the internet searches. Items found in a dumpster, including a hacksaw, a hatchet, and Ana's vaccination card and personal items, contained DNA from both Ana and Brian Walshe.
Defense Argument
Brian Walshe's defense attorney, Larry Tipton, does not dispute that Walshe dismembered and disposed of the body after her death. However, the defense argues he is not a murderer and panicked after finding his wife had died a sudden, unexpected death in bed. They contend that the internet searches and disposal of the body were a frantic, tragic response from a man who feared no one would believe he hadn't killed her, especially given his pending legal issues related to an art fraud case.
Trial Status
The jury is currently in deliberations. The prosecution is seeking a first-degree murder conviction, while the defense hopes for an acquittal on the murder charge or a lesser conviction, such as second-degree murder, which would allow for the possibility of parole.
Well, what is comical to me is that our society has become so "woke," or virtuous, that they don't want to innocently convict a poor man who may have cut the woman up into a thousand or perhaps ten thousand pieces, researched for hours, no doubt how to get rid of the body, spread each individual piece over perhaps forty eight states, purchased all of these implements to perform the humanitarian act, but is only now remembering as little as possible lest they find a finger which would prove something or other? I sort of got lost on the exorbitant amount of body pieces.
Nevertheless, the entire country has been holding these very sympathetic arguments and discussions for the sake of this poor victim, right?
I mean, doesn't anybody take the 'Brutality," of the crime into consideration?
They all act as if it is completely normal for a man to cut up into little pieces a woman's body, and to then spend hours in planning the crime of covering it up, yet not remembering where a fingernail would happen to be???
If I hurt a woman's feelings it is going to stay with me forever sometimes, and yet the world acts as if this is completely normal behavior. It just makes me want to "weep."
I am so sorry, that's not my nature.
Well, could I tell you all something and I am not even going to charge you, as if I was a church leader or news reporter or making a dime on TikTok Toc or You Tube, for my expertise knowledge.
WHEN YOU STAND BEFORE JESUS, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE GIVEN THE EMPATHY THAT THE WORLD HAS BEEN SHOWING TO THESE COLD-BLOODED KILLERS OF NATIONAL GUARDSMEN, ICE AGENTS, INNOCENT BUSINESS EXECUTIVES AND PLAIN OLD COLD AND HEARTLESS MURDERERS WHICH OUR SOCIETY WISHES TO BESTOW ON THESE INDIVIDUALS.
But you see, the more that we are coming to the end of the ages, the more screwed up is going to be our sense of justice or what we allow. It was probably a year ago, and I had just got through writing a similar paper talking about how I heard "Prophecy," as a new Christian that America would one day be under the persecution that the Early church was under. Nonetheless, maybe a month later we had these protesters spewing dogma that they were no longer wishing harm to come to the Jewish people, but instead they were pronouncing death threats as if this were Nazi Germany.
And what is ironic is that it is the "LEFT," continually calling Trump and the "RIGHT," wannabe Nazi's."
I am telling you the days are coming quick for the Lord God to appear in the Sky where all will see Him.
Can you imagine one day where you are fleeing a city and as you are leaving the city you can see these crucifixes over yonder in a field.
This was what the Early Church saw.
Oh, you'll say, "I don't believe it."
Well, would you have believed it twenty years ago, if I told you the circumstances that I just copied from Google Ai, concerning the man who ALEDGEDLY killed his wife????????
"Of course, I would, we have to make righteous judgments just as they have been teaching in the churches for decades."
******************************************
Can you imagine, if it wasn't one church in one city at one time of the year, but it was two churches or ten churches or maybe thirty churches and it wasn't one time of the year, but it was two times a year?
Or for "goodness sakes," what if we actually did what the early Christians did, and it was every church in the city began to help those in need instead of splurging billions of dollars on our CEO's?
I am sorry, I meant our "Spiritual Leaders."
And finally, I am not against huge Mega Churches, I am against any churches which TAKE, TAKE, and TAKE, and never once give back!
Personally, I wonder myself had all of these failing churches given back as we see today this event taking place at Gateway Church, would they have failed so miserably?
That's what I have been preaching for well over forty years.
That gentlemen, is my story, and I'm sticking to it!
Post Script:
I wrote the above last night, quit about three or four, as I recall, and woke up today with the news that Rob Reiner and his wife had been allegedly slain by their own son by being stabbed to death.
Well, it really gets you to wondering, "Why are murders so prevalent in today's society?"
Do you know what I mean?
Perhaps, it is because the citizens of the present society are so "virtuous" that they can't find a man guilty after he butcher's his wife up into a thousand or so pieces, purchases the implements to perform the tasks, was caught red-handed researching subjects such as "How to dispose of a body," and other such subjects?
Just a thought that I had, I mean please don't condemn me for having such an outlandish idea run through my mind?
I am only human, not quite sure about some of you guys though?
