Sermon’s worth mentioning…

Music link:   https://youtu.be/Vpy3ucLA7Ik

I have been meaning to post this sermon for a number of weeks. This is a classic sermon and should be re-played for the next fifty years or until the Lord appears again, then it is followed by two follow up sermons.

Well, I am not even sure that I listened to the entire follow up sermons, but to me what was most important was the original.

You see, this sermon brings a "unity," to the "body of Christ,"

Well, this is the kind of sermon that pleases the Lord.

I believe that He would like his church to once again have a "unity of Purpose."

Somehow, we have seemed to have lost that.

A follow up paper to the one written after Rededicate 250...

I woke up this morning and felt impressed by the Holy Spirit to write another "Paper"  stating the importance of welcoming "The Alpha Course," into a wide acceptance in the churches here in America.  You see, we really need to get on the same page when it comes to Christianity in the States, and this would be a wonderful tool.

There are just too many people doing their own thing or calling this Christianity or that Christianity when the truth is most all of the church in America has never been released from the nursery where they have not been "sucking," from their own Mother's teets, but of the demons of confusions "Teet's," and many will agree and say, "Yea, and we like it like that!"

But I am here to say that this doesn't have to be the case if the churches would get together and figure out a way in which we can get this course taught all over America.

You know, lately I have heard a number of "anti Spirit Filled' so-called Christians criticizing the "Full Gospel Men's Fellowship," from the seventies or when the Charismatic revival hit the Nation.

Allow me to submit to you:

AI Overview

The Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International (FGBMFI) was exceptionally successful in the 1970s. During this period, it became the world's largest Christian laymen's ministry. The fellowship expanded massively, utilized television specials, and popularized charismatic, Pentecostal-based Christianity to millions in the workplace. Here is a breakdown of their success and impact during the 1970s:

  • Massive Global Growth: In 1972 alone, the organization hit an impressive 300,000 members. They met in hotels, restaurants, and cafeterias across thousands of local chapters globally.

  • Media Reach: Their official publication, Voice magazine, achieved a massive circulation of up to 800,000 copies during its peak. They also launched the "Good News" television show, which was broadcast in approximately 150 cities to boost public awareness.

  • "Airlift" Missions: FGBMFI began organizing "Airlifts" in the late 1960s and 1970s, where hundreds of business people filled chartered jets to fly into Europe, Africa, and Asia, hosting dynamic revival meetings.

  • Support for Evangelists: The success and financial networking of the FGBMFI were vital to funding and launching notable ministries of the era, such as Oral Roberts and the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

Well, I was never involved with the group as I never considered myself a business man yet I went to a few conferences where they always had the most anointed and  successful speakers, but the one thing that stuck out to me more than anything was the amount of serious high dollar Business men who they could get to accept Christ.

You see, they were very successful and that is why today Satan is trying to downplay all of the good that they did, just as he is always tearing down those minister's or ministries which were preaching God's healing and having wonderful results. .

My point in mentioning this today though, is to give a few people a new vision for what could happen in America if we incorporated a Catechism called "The Alpha Course,"and then we emulated some of the most successful strategies taken from the "Charismatic Revival Era."

Could you imagine our Corporate Board Rooms, holding courses that would bring men to their knees, and to a true repentance?

it could change the atmosphere of a Nation, much as it did in the seventies when Revival hit?.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if something like the revised FGBMF w/Alpha course, could even bring a Democrat to repentance. you know, possibly one?

But, I wouldn't be putting much more "Faith," into it though.

What's that Pennsylvania Senators name?

Nevertheless, I am going to Post this before I edit it, because it wouldn't surprise me if Satan was planning some harm to myself in order to sabotage my ability to "Post."

I am sure that the devil does not wish for me to be publishing this type of "wisdom" for the Church.

God bless, hope you enjoy my thoughts on what America needs right now!

Enjoy!

"The second Paper."

I have been planning to expose one of Satan's most vicious attacks on the church in over three decades. You see, there are numerous deceptions by the devil in which he has used throughout the centuries, but one of his more consistent deceptions is for him to have so many individuals believe that they are "Christians," that they nullify the reality of true Christians among us. Below is a picture of what Satan is trying to do in America.

You see, the devil is taking either Social Media influencer or platforms, and he is trying to establish a type of universal "Constantine," kingdom of Christians."

In the following paper in which I posted a few days ago, my intention wasn't to trivialize the "Faith," of certain individuals who have claimed to be stalwart Christians, but my intent was to point out that no one person should be enamored with another human being as a Christian leader unless you understand completely where that person is coming from.

This has been one of the main difficulties in the American concept of Christianity. And what is worse, is that this is how many individuals define their "Faith."

"Oh, I am a disciple of the Prosperity movement, and from all of the established "Fathers of the Faith," who have learned those long ago buried 'secrets,' which allow us to prosper in this life. You see, I have watched those individuals follow God for decades and "I know they are consistent."

"Well, have you ever met any one of them who has taken these teachings to the extreme and instead of living a life devoted to God have only led lives filled with the evil attributes of selfishness, greed, Idolatry, or covetousness?

"Have you ever met one who has only lived for self and has basically done 'jack squat' for anybody else in society because they have consumed their lives with the end result of becoming as rich as one could possibly become in this life?"

"Of course, that is what all of our foremost leaders have striven for and they have carefully placed themselves as our examples in Ministry."

Answer: "Well, of course, all Christians have an occasional skeleton in their closet everybody has a few misguided attributes."

Above is a typical conversation with one.

Well, then we have a group over here and they say, "Oh, I believe in the concept and the 'Stream," of Mike Bickle because for years, I have watched and observed many in the group and they are very consistent Christians.

Nearly, all of them love to either sing or play in the Prayer Room in order to be seen by hundreds of thousands of followers and they receive great satisfaction from this, as they then get to fellowship with "Christians," from all walks of life who have settled into this atmosphere of "Do anything that you want in the community, just so long as you have given your allegiance to our sometime defined "CULT," so designated by the "fruit," of the individuals who have gathered here from all parts of the world.

You know, by my observations of the place, I consider it much as America has become after all of those Nations under Joe Biden had emptied their Prisons and Mental hospitals, and degenerates into our society.

"Welcome my brothers and sisters to "Kansas City," the infamous place where all the nut case Prophets got their start way back fifty years or so ago."

So, "Have you ever seen the heavy influence that the drug culture has had on much of this so-called fellowship here in this "Church."

"Well, excuse me, I had to wipe my nose, "no, not sure, you say that some use drugs around here?"

Yes, I mean, have you ever watched many of the regular "Prayer Warriors," be on stage playing an instrument and then falling asleep right in the middle of the set and landing almost on the floor?"

"No, no, but a lot of times I am downtown partying in one of the clubs or "alternative clubs" where many of us "Hang." You see, most all of us have been taught to receive our 501(c)(3) status which defines us as being tax exempt "Prayer Missionaries."

"What? Oh that is a designation that Mike came up with, so we all could be considered "Church Missionaries."

You know, we are like those real missionaries who sometime give their lives for the gospel, whereas we differ, because our "missionary Field, is not in the various foreign countries of the world, but our 'mission field," is right here in the clubs and various Prayer Rooms where we establish our cliques of same thinking "Prayer Warriors."

You know, and then we raise support from Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Isabella, Auntie Gertrude, from my Music teacher back home who taught me to yodel, from my neighbors who I used to baby sit for, from my dealer who on occasion can feel really generous....You Know, from all those who love the gospel or feel indebted to me since my release from the "Happy Acres."

Many may ask, "John, how did you ever become involved in reporting or exposing all of these individuals in this so-called Church?"

Well, it was due mostly to the many episodes which had been spoken about, yet covered up concerning sexual assaults, rapes and the like.

But, hey for decades we refer to all of these no matter their "walk," as Christians."

Are you tracking with me, are you getting an idea of where I am coming from when speaking of what we all consider the "American Church?"

What defines a "Church," in America?

Could I tell you?

It is defined upon how the gospel is presented by those particular leaders which are "Heads," over the congregations which have somehow been deceived in many cases and drawn to these institutes of which the apostle Paul warned about constantly in scripture of wolves in "Sheep's Clothing."

Well, then we have a thousand Mega Churches around the Nation and the sole purpose of many of these has been to open as an "institute of the church" which is merely a paper mill of millions of dollars flowing in and out accordingly, as to whether they are under a leader with a sliver of "Integrity." Nonetheless, many others have an attitude from indoctrination which has caused the men to go into the clergy on the basis of whether they can successfully manipulate the masses in order to keep the "Riverboat," still afloat.

If they can, then each week we have another institute of learning which is constantly in "Take," mode.

Generally, many have no concern for the Poor, the down and out, those who are in serious need of help in this life, but rather these indoctrinated souls love to use those millions of dollars in resources to build more Brick and Martar buildings as many become obsessed with creating a legacy and in having "funds," backing them up "just in case."

You know, just in case they end up in a scandal that plummets their name into the ground. This is what many "fear," and where their hearts are when running these mammoth organizations which mostly ignores their congregations needs but instead feeds upon the the teachings of those "Aint's who have gone before them.

Following Constantine's legalization (313 AD) and the subsequent declaration of Christianity as the Roman state religion (380 AD), the faith transitioned from a persecuted minority to the dominant imperial institution. This shift, known as the Constantinian shift, transformed Christianity into a wealthy, powerful entity supported by the state, introducing structural changes, political unity, and secular influence.

Key changes for Christianity included:

• State Support and Patronage: The emperor built massive churches (e.g., St. Peter's in Rome), funded clergy salaries, and exempted them from taxes.

• Political Integration: The Church became closely intertwined with state power, causing the separation of church and state to vanish. Bishops gained political power and influence.

• Structural and Cultural Changes: Christianity became the fashionable "trendy" religion. Pagan influences blended into Church practices, and Sunday became a public day of rest.

• The Shift from Pacifism: The Church shifted from a minority that rejected violence to one that condoned, and sometimes participated in, the use of the sword to enforce religious unity.

• Involvement in Dogma: Constantine convened the Council of Nicaea (325 AD) to resolve doctrinal disputes (like Arianism), initiating the precedent of ecumenical councils to define orthodoxy.

• Persecution of Pagans and Heretics: Legal status brought the, perhaps ironic, restriction of other religions, as temples were destroyed and pagans were sometimes marginalized or attacked.

Clarification on "Declaration": While Constantine enabled Christianity's rise through the Edict of Milan in 313, the official declaration of Christianity as the sole state religion occurred later under Emperor Theodosius I with the Edict of Thessalonica in 380.

Fox Corporation benefits financially from promoting gambling within its sports coverage through a mix of high-value advertising, direct equity investments in sportsbook operators, and increased viewer engagement that drives up TV ratings. By integrating betting content into Fox Sports programming, the company turns passive viewers into active consumers of its betting partnerships.

• Equity Investments and Options: Fox Corp holds a significant financial stake in the gambling industry, most notably an option to acquire up to 18.6% of FanDuel (parent company Flutter), which it can exercise through 2030. As the US sports betting market grows, this stake increases in value, with some estimates valuing this option at roughly $2.1 billion.

• Direct Advertising Revenue: Gambling companies are a major, lucrative source of ad revenue for Fox. In 2022, Fox expected sports betting to generate over $100 million in ad revenue, a number that has likely grown as legal betting spreads.

• Increased Viewer Engagement: Fox executives have clarified that investing in sports betting is primarily designed to increase the value of its television business. Betting encourages viewers to watch for longer periods ("shoulder programming") and engages them with Fox's live sports, such as the NFL, MLB, and NASCAR, increasing the value of commercial spots.

• "Fox Bet Super 6" and User Acquisition: Fox launched the "Fox Bet Super 6" free-to-play game, which amassed over 5 million users. This acts as a marketing funnel to convert casual viewers into active gamblers for their partner apps.

• Partnerships and Licensing: Fox entered a long-term partnership with Stars Group (now part of Flutter) to launch Fox Bet, granting an exclusive license to use Fox Sports trademarks, allowing them to monetize their media brand directly in the wagering space.

While Fox has encountered some setbacks, such as winding down the specific "Fox Bet" wagering app to focus on the broader FanDuel relationship, the company continues to aggressively leverage its sports broadcasts to profit from the expansion of US gambling.

Fox Corp benefits financially from promoting religious endeavors by tapping into a dedicated, "undeserved" audience to drive advertising revenue, increase subscriptions to its streaming service Fox Nation, and diversify its content beyond seasonal politics. The media giant, specifically through its "Fox Faith" vertical and related initiatives, monetizes faith-based content, including apps, podcasts, and documentaries, targeting a market estimated to be worth billions.

Financial benefits are derived from several key avenues:

• Fox Nation Subscriptions: Fox uses faith-themed content-such as Bible studies with personalities like Ainsley Earhardt and documentaries on saints-to lure subscribers to its Fox Nation streaming service.

• Targeted Advertising and Sponsorships: Religious programs and apps often feature paid sponsorships, such as the partnership with the Hallow prayer app, which ran on-air, paid segments and banner ads, effectively monetizing religious content.

• High-Value Audience Niche: Executives recognize an "insatiable appetite" for faith-based content among a passionate audience, providing a stable, consistent, and loyal viewership that is less volatile than political news cycles.

• Expansion of Content and Brand: The focus on "Fox Faith" aligns with a broader strategy to expand the brand's reach and provide content that appeals to a diverse range of consumers, including on-air promotion of religious-themed books and films.

• Direct Investment: Fox has historically invested in religious-themed, "morally-driven" entertainment, such as the acquisition of Beliefnet and the development of Fox Faith content.

Note: The "Fox Faith" label for film, established in 2006, was part of 20th Century Fox and is currently owned by The Walt Disney Company following the 2019 acquisition. The recent "Fox Faith" initiatives mentioned are part of the independent Fox Corporation.

Note from the author: My intent here has nothing to do with reproving Fox Corporation for their promotion of Gambling, this is a secular corporation which is going to do what secular corporations do, they "Sin," that is their nature, no big deal!

Nevertheless, this is the reason why no one should be looking at this secular corporation, as your friend in Christ. Tomorrow it could be bought out and could be promoting the anti Christ in the flesh.

Are you tracking with me.

My point, however, is that they look at "Prayer," as a commodity to sell, therefore, perhaps you should not be treating them as your "Spiritual Fathers," who are your mentors in Christ.

So, I also feel as if the church has been "impotent" of it's purpose and this is why we have seen so many "walk away from the Faith."

Nevertheless, I am sharing these insights which I believe the Lord wished for me to post because again, we are shown a picture of "America's concept of the church."

There are many who I believe are subtly led to follow the logic of being a Christian because they are regular watchers of some religious media or of following certain television personalities.

This does not make you a Christian anymore than standing in a garage makes you a Car. Nonetheless, recently I have come to the conclusion that there are many in America on Social Media or who watch Cable Television and then believe that they have fulfilled all righteousness to call themselves a fellow believer?

"So, why are you a believer?"

"Well, I have been following a televised "Bible Study," for a number of years now," where all these ladies meet every week."

"Well, I have read over five television personalities books about their experiences with a particular church growing up or how they had to struggle through life because they were teased by their little sisters?'

"Well, I go to church because Brian has stated that it is a good idea."

"Yea, me too, I go because Charlie thought it was "cool," is there any thing "cooler," than that, let me know and I will join!"

"Yea, that's why I am a Christian because of those three guys who meet every week for a Bible Study."

"They are 'COOL,' man!

"Well, except the one guy, what rock did he crawl out of?"

Well, perhaps, I read this wrong, but these individuals are encouraged to sell their religion as part of their "job description," aren't they?

Isn't Fox Corporation just using the concept of Christianity because it is a great and vast resource of income to dip into?

Yeah, but John they love the attributes of godliness, this is why they do it.

"Wow, I never thought of it in those terms, I guess that is why they promote the attributes of the devil, aka Satan, aka Lucifer, in their active promotions of gambling for the struggling latest young men who may be trying to raise a family from Generation A,B,C,D, E, F, G, H, ...

"My 'goodness gracious what a benevolent corporation!"

And I am not trying to accuse any individual or to say that they are not trying to follow Christ, but what I am saying is that America shouldn't be forming any opinions that they are "Christians" and because of this fact, you want to place your salvation in them. Or because you watched some online Bible Study from Fox Network, or that you read a book by one of it's anchors or hosts.

You see, I have seen "Spirit Filled believers," or so they claimed to be, commit felony sexual assaults and even followed it by vicious attacks on the person of the victim. Then after the attack they got together close to a hundred or so individuals who all spent the next few years covering up the crime. So, what would cause a hundred believers or so to want to jeopardize their "Salvation," to cover up worldly felonies committed by "worship leaders," within their community?

Well, it was because they were instructed by the one who had been financing them through his 'corporation,' and had been indoctrinating them into thinking that the institute was more precious to God than the character which should have been taught into the souls of these youth and ADULTS, such as the ones which committed that awful offense against a sister in Christ.

Could I share another observation of the church which hardly anyone weighs. I have been observing the American church for over fifty years.

Well, there is one thing to me which is so IRKSOME, yet I have seldom if ever heard anyone comment on it.

But it is the consistency of our great church leaders in their "walk with Jesus." Once, I met a man who literally was a worshiper of one of our Prosperity leaders. He had been in Prison and in prison found some "Prosperity" books from a few notorious televangelists. So, somehow we were at a Bus stop and the both of us began a conversation somehow. Perhaps he had a Prosperity Best Seller, as I normally like to engage fellow Christians into conversations, as most I have found are really confused on their Faith.

So, the man tells me his testimony and how he found this man's teaching, and it changed his life. Whereas before he found it comforting to steal as he coveted money, now he was covetously seeking it through manipulative practices which he could put over on God in order to have God's 'word' to work for him.

Well, in the next few minutes, he was praising and speaking all sorts of adulation on the man whose wisdom has led him to become this very covetous Christian. You see, he wasn't talking concerning his "Faith," in which could help others, he wasn't talking of "Faith," to serve others in any form of ministry or evangelism as a missionary or some other servant hood capacity to please God, but he was strictly speaking of the riches in which one day he was determined to receive from God, that he could build some great legacy of himself for God.

Are you following me?

But anyway, after a while I began to share my testimony and how that I had studied under Kenneth Hagin, Lester Sumrall, how I had attended many Southwest Believers conventions, as well as many other conferences in Tulsa, where I had lived on three different occasions. And so, as I was sharing all about Jesus and how that a Christians first obligation was to Jesus Christ, I then began to question a few of the motives behind some of these other "Prosperity Preachers."

Well, needless to say, before I had left the man's presence I thought that he was going to kick my *** from here to Eternity as his facial expressions just kept getting darker and darker.

Anyway, I think that the one statement in which I made, sort of "set the course" for his anger was when I suggested that if you took all of the material things away from these individual multi millionaire Preachers, if you took away their Private Jets, if you took away the opportunity to constantly replete the funds of the poor in the congregations, would these same preachers even be following the Lord?

You know, often you hear such Praise from the Church by these many Preachers for each other, yet there are so many of them who have never had a job, never struggled with real "Faith," issues concerning the many struggles in life, yet they are randomly worshiping as having the greatest characters and "Faith," among the 'Saint's,' in the Church.

There are so many who from the moment that they decided to preach the gospel have just been on a train ride back and forth, as they coast through life.

But it hasn't been just a typical train ride.

No, these fellows are regular passengers on that bullet train that they are building in California. You know, the one that has cost a few trillion dollars has never aided a fellow passenger and as we look to the future we can only imagine spending a few more trillion on their projects?

Are you tracking with me?

But the question that never seems to be asked is, "Would these so-called minister's still be following Jesus Christ, if you were to take all of their toys and all of their resources, of which many were wrongly attained, away from them?

Personally, I don't think so.

And this is why I have trouble when individuals build their "Faith," on the personality of a man or woman. You see, you really don't know who is going to be "Loyal," to Jesus Christ, until they are stripped of everything and asked to live their lives, as one of the Prophets or followers of God described in the "Book of Hebrews."

Hebrews 11:12-14    New Living Translation

12 And so a whole nation came from this one man who was as good as dead-a nation with so many people that, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore, there is no way to count them.

13 All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth. 14 Obviously people who say such things are looking forward to a country they can call their own.

I swear, WOW, what a contrast from one of our even newer translations....

My Own Translation Hebrews 18: 2-5

2. And from the moment they were coveted from one of the preachers who saw their converts as a fresh new dollar bill. 3. Hell, I didn't mean one dollar bill, but I meant tens of thousands of dollar bills, 4. They were apprenticed to follow in their master's footsteps. 5. Thus from that day forward they never lacked any finances, less then a million dollars, as they each were taught to plunder the laity relentlessly.

And when I am talking about the Fox Network promoting a type of Christianity, I am not saying that it is wrong. What I am saying is that "Let's take it as it's street value."

Are they concerned with your soul and your salvation? Or are they just trying to drum up revenue for the almighty corporation?

Are they promoting any type of "spirituality" other than an interest in their network shows. Not that I have ever seen any and I have been a loyal follower for something like six years.

Have any of these anchors shared their "Faith," or promoted the concept of the Holy Spirit's gifting such as "speaking in other tongues?" Or has the corporation forbid such preaching, as they are only interested of spreading the type of gospel which will benefit the corporation.

Would these individuals still be sharing the gospel and writing prosperous books if their corporation frowned on it?

Well, no that would not be conducive to our goals of drawing all types of followers to come and invest their resources in our little "Constantine," kingdom of GOUD?"

Well, what then is the basis for all of the beliefs that this corporation has been promoting in the name of Christianity.

"Oh that, is that all you wanted to know?"

It was memo # 703, "let us be kind to our viewers, but please don't over do it."

And No, I am not saying that any of these Christian authors are not true believers, but what I am saying is that no matter their intent, one should not place your Faith, in the hands of any man or woman other than in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the only thing in which you need to receive that you may have a firm foundation on which to follow God in Life.

You see, part of the problem in America is that no one has taught that the "Body of Christ," needs a foundation which would bring the church into a godly unity.

We have individuals who claim, "Well, I am a Christian because Charlie was and he thought it to be "cool."

We have individuals who claim, "Well, I am a Christian because I have attended three network Bible Studies from Fox network.

We have individuals who claim, "Well, I am a Christian because I used to watch "Day Star."

We have individuals who claim, "Well, I am a Christian because I have been following Kenneth Copeland and some day I am going to enter heaven having accumulated a billion dollars."

"A soul, what is that?"

We have individuals who claim, "Well, I am a Christian because years ago, I sold all of my worldly belongings and I became a disciple of the Prayer Room movement, and now not only am I a Christian, but I have been authorized to go commission Grandma as a godly giver to the gospel, which just happens to be ME."

You see, I am a Prayer Missionary, instead of going across the world to preach the gospel, we simply cross the city and go to the alternative Clubs downtown to share the gospel.

"No, not all of us, but there are many many many, who do!"

And Then, we have individuals who claim, "Well, I am a Christian because I had a personal encounter where I met the God of this entire universe and he showed me how to walk in integrity toward that personal relationship which is only found in Jesus.

And not because of someone else's integrity or influence."

And so, I am not questioning any one's faith and especially many of the incredible individuals at Fox.

Nevertheless, I am just reminding the Church that the Fox Network is not your "foundation in Christ,"  unless you intend to sadly "Shipwreck," your "Faith," for not having had a strong foundation of the basic catechism in which all believer's need to hear as first time believers, or for that matter as long time believers.

Nonetheless, this is why I feel as if God has moved me to start preaching on behalf of my brothers and sisters around the country to start instituting this phenomenon from Europe which gives every believer a foundation for what exactly they ought to be believing

.

The course is called "The Alpha Course."

When God called me something like fifty years ago, the Holy Spirit directed me to go through a similar course called the "Life in the Spirit," where many of my questions dealing with theology were answered.

And you can "trust me," on this, I haven't a clue, as to how I ever survived, but I just know had I never taken that course, I would not be here today. You see, it placed a foundation of strength, wisdom, knowledge and confidence in me which empowered me to overcome the world.

I remember after a number of classes and I had this heavy addiction to Valium which I had been taking for years, the maximum allowed every day. So, it was after I had received the Holy Ghost and I went home praying in tongues.

So, I told God during Prayer, "OK how does it work Lord, since I just became baptized and now speak in tongues, How does this addiction break off my life?"

So, the Lord answers me, "This is how John, I want you to go flush those pills down the toilet."

Well, I was shocked as I had been waiting weeks to receive the "Baptism" knowing that others were immediately cured of their drug addictions, yet none mentioned this small part.

Well, after arguing with the Holy Spirit for maybe a half hour or so, I finally gave in and obeyed God.

Nevertheless, when I woke the next morning I was "FREAKING," out, I called my mentor who was my cousin and I told him my dilemma. "Bob, bob, I have been waiting to receive the Holy Spirit so I could be healed of my drug addiction, but it was not working. I'm going to have to go to another doctor and get a new script.

So, my cousin says, "John, just do what you have to do."

Well, I go and find a new doctor and used my Blue Cross/Blue Shield which I had from being laid off from Ford Motor Company. Then I spent nearly all the money I had left for the week which was something like thirty five dollars to purchase a new script.

I go home at night, and attempted to obey the teaching we had learned from our class and that was to pray every day utilizing your gift of tongues. So, once again, I am sitting with my legs crossed and begin praying in tongues. Well, no more than a few minutes passes and I begin to get into the 'Spirit," once again.

So, I hear this same voice which I had heard the night before and the Lord says, "John, if you throw those down the toilet you will never ever have to worry about them again."

Well, now I knew that it couldn't be from God, as I had just spent every resource that I had to purchase this, not even day-old, brand-new prescription where there would be no salvation for me if I had the same experience as I had that morning.

Heck, it might have even been a ninety day supply, so I knew that if it didn't work, as it didn't work that morning I would be completely lost.

Well, I just kept praying in tongues nevertheless, and again I heard God, "John, if you flush those down the..."

But God, I argued, you saw what happened this morning, I can't do that, can we move on God?

So, once again, I hear the 'word of the Lord,' "John if you throw those down the toilet you will never have to worry about them ever again."

Well, I ignored the Lord and just kept speaking in tongues, yet God had made it clear to me that for the rest of my life, all that I was ever going to hear from God when approaching Him would be: "John if you throw those down the toilet you will never have to worry about them ever again."

So, after struggling with myself I finally gave in and flushed them down the toilet. I finally fell asleep and as God is my witness, "When I woke the next morning I was "FREAKING," out, in the exact way that I was freaking out the same way I had freaked out the day before."

Well, I sat on the floor and began to speak in tongues that I could get in the "Spirit," and to talk to God once again.

So, as I was praying and crying out to God, "God I did it, I obeyed you and nothing happened Jesus, I need a Valium....

Well, as I am crying out to God, I hear this still small voice in me and it was a scripture in which I had recalled from one of my classes in the "Life in the Spirit," course. And so, as I was weighing the scripture, all of a sudden I had a revelation, and I shouted "Yes, that's right, "He who is in me, is greater than he who is in the world," and as I said that full of confidence the atmosphere changed in the room and there was a peace that fell from heaven. Nonetheless, it wasn't a Peace in which is found in the world, so I repeated the scripture again and again. And until this day, I have never had an urge or a desire to take a valium for my nervousness or anxiety.

You see, I was given a "Peace," which passes all understanding and it had alleviated all of my "fears."

Would you like to be rid of fear, would you like to be bold in Jesus?

Or in your witness for Christ?

Then find the way of Peace, not as the world would give it, but as the Holy Spirit would give it.

How do you think that the Early Church would have so many Martyrs all willing to give their lives for Jesus Christ.

You see, none of these followed 'cultists,' leaders or corporations which held their employee papers, no they were relentless and full of boldness to declare the one and true religion of God.

The type of Christianity which left them full of Power, just as the Lord commanded them, "Don't do anything until you receive POWER from on high."

Well, could I tell you two lessons in which God had taught me that day?

Think about this, God taught me in two days what it takes some Christians to learn in a lifetime because they never seek to go farther in Christ than from the Baptist altar in which they can sometimes remember mumbling something having to do with God.

Number One, "God taught me that you can never fool God."

You see, when I finally decided to flush those pills down the toilet the first time, I knew in my heart that I still had like seventy dollars in my pocket and an Insurance card which was accepted by almost every doctor in town.

Are you following me? Though I agreed to do what God was asking of me, I knew that I had "set up" Plan B, in the back of my head.

In other words, that lesson taught me to never imagine that you can "Put one over on God," you see, God knows it all and if you believe that you are more clever then God to go around his commands for your life then you are just wasting your time and what ultimately will cost you financially in the long run, as well.

Secondly, I learned from God that day that "Without Faith it is impossible to please God and you can even nullify the help in which you might receive from God if you try to obey God without "Faith."

Let me explain, "Obedience is better than sacrifice."

You see, I wanted off of those pills so bad that I would do almost anything to get off of them. And so, when God asked me to flush them down the toilet, I finally obeyed the Lord and did what was asked of me."

Are you following me?

"I offered up to God a sacrifice to show God that I was obedient to his word and trusted in Him."

Nonetheless, although it was a sacrifice it really wasn't an act of obedience because I never intended to flush them down the toilet until it crossed my mind that if worst came to worst, I would still have resources to get another script.

Therefore, in the morning I was freaking out without my Valium. I was filled with "FEAR."

However, the second day when I flushed the entire new script down the toilet, there was no back up Plan B, I knew that if I were to really do that and it didn't work then I was going to be going through some long "Cold Turkey."

Therefore, what I am saying is that one was a sacrifice of a "counterfeit gift," to God, as I had no intention of sincerity knowing that should it not work I was going to be out the door and on my way to the doctors.

Nevertheless, on the second day it was an actual gift which showed the Lord my true obedience to His "word," and that was why it worked.

You see, God himself lives by laws that judge his actions.

In the first case, perhaps God even wanted to help me, but couldn't because I wasn't meeting the "conditions," as I had a back up plan. There was no "Faith," nevertheless, on the second day, God looked down and saw this pathetic creature, yet he said, "Goodness gracious me, this man is showing enormous FAITH and TRUST and LOYALTY in my "Word," and when the laws of the universe heard that praise concerning my little Faith, a scripture was released from heaven which has emboldened me ever since.

Go figure, Huuuh!

But that is just one example why the Nation needs to come into a unity of purpose and wisdom that we can defeat all of these forces of Evil which is ever present with us every day.

And lastly, that is my story, I am sticking to it, and I need lunch.....

Just an afterthought, so I ask “Google AI,” if the FGBMF had any influence in Washington DC politics?

Who’d a thought!

AI Overview

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) exerted significant influence on Washington, D.C., particularly during the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Through massive annual conventions that drew over 12,000 attendees and high-level networking, the organization successfully brought charismatic Christian influence into the American political sphere.

The FGBMFI’s footprint in the nation’s capital is defined by several key elements:

  • High-Level      Political Engagement: The group’s high-profile Washington conventions      frequently attracted major political figures, including vice presidents      and sitting presidents. For example, Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon      engaged with and publicly championed the organization's work in strengthening      the moral and spiritual fabric of the nation.

  • The      National Prayer Breakfast Link: The Fellowship was instrumental in      organizing and heavily participating in the annual National Prayer      Breakfast in Washington, D.C.. This provided the laymen’s network with      direct access to US senators, congressmen, corporate executives, and      international ambassadors.

  • Cultural      and Social Impact: Operating as one of the largest laymen's ministries      globally, FGBMFI's Washington-based events acted as a major catalyst for      the "Charismatic Renewal." The group normalized spirit-filled      Pentecostal testimonies in mainstream Protestant and Catholic circles,      successfully lobbying and working alongside lawmakers to shape the      religious and moral tone of capital politics.

You can explore more about the history and scope of this evangelical network by visiting the FGBMFI Official History or reading the Ronald Reagan Library Archives

I had no idea that this weekend was Pentecost Sunday!

He knows the wickedness in your heart, if your heart was right you would quit reading this today and go buy a Bible, but you won't, just as the Pharisees never took any action to save their souls. Or perhaps as a Baptist, who just refuses to learn any more concerning the in-filling of the Holy Spirit because for hundreds of years they have been indoctrinated unto religious lies.

Well that is what I have felt in these last few weeks.

You know, I wrote this AI message above concerning the influence that the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship had on Washington DC during the seventies when I was brought into the Charismatic Church scene.

Then I went to sleep last night and as I awoke after a few hours I began thinking about it much more seriously. I believe that it was the Holy Ghost talking to me while I slept.

But as I awoke I got to thinking, "You know, if we didn't have so many "clergy" which are defined as "Advisors to the President." who all collectively congregate to 'lay hands on the man in order to pray for him' every two days or so, and if they weren't so consumed with those million dollar offerings that they are all 'seeking,' once they go home and have meetings, as they showcase the fact that they were in the 'inner circle' of the President's Prayer Team then who knows what else they could be accomplishing?

Maybe they could be doing a little more, such as AI defined the FGBMF under Reagan's administration?

Just a thought!

Uh oh, I went to sleep again and when I awoke I was thinking about my earlier comments concerning the success which was enjoyed by the Reagan administration.

I was thinking, “Who knows, perhaps that was why Reagan’s legacy is still remembered today so favorably. It was probably due to the fact that all the time, behind the scenes where no one could really Put a finger on it, “the Holy Spirit,” was moving behind the scenes in so many events and situations.”

Well, then I recalled how they also tried to assassinate Reagan, as well.

Thank God, the Holy Spirit was so active in the government at the time.

So, it is not as if this administration has been completely devoid of God, but I am just saying there can never be “too much of God or the Holy Spirit,” in the administration of a Presidency.

Therefore, I am praying that we can begin some of these “Alpha” courses around Washington or another Catechism which could build a “spiritual foundation” among our nations “Congressional” leaders and for the overall populace, as well.

I believe that there are probably many Catholic Churches  which still have the curriculum for “The Life in the Spirit,” course.

Well, it’s not exactly as if they don’t have the facilities to open some classes and I would guess that there are probably a few of them who aren’t so heavily bogged down with local ministry that they might even have some extra time?

Seriously, what you would be doing would be to begin to bring back “Righteousness” into the consciences once again to humanity.

As I have listened to the news among our huge cities, I am almost of the belief that there is no concept any more of conscience or ‘good works,’ among many of our fellow citizens.

As it is today, I believe that this is what is so lacking in America, more so, than anything else.

We need to restore a concept of “Right and Wrong,” back into the consciences of man. And I’m not just talking about those in Washington DC, but rather all over our Nation.

Much of America is completely ignorant of the “knowledge of the Holy,” because we have allowed the knowledge of the unholy to literally hi-Jack the church and to re-define the basic tenets of Christianity.

In fact, I believe that not only could it help our fallen society, but perhaps, it could also educate many of our “spiritual,” leaders who in some cases may need it much more than the laity.

Just an observation!

AI Overview

Redefining the basic tenets of Christianity means altering or reinterpreting the fundamental, core beliefs that define the faith. For over two millennia, these foundational doctrines have served as the anchors of Christian theology across the globe.]

Core Tenets of Christianity

Historically, the essential beliefs of Christianity are summarized in historic confessions like the Apostles' Creed and include:

• The Trinity: Belief in one God who exists in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.

• The Deity of Christ: The belief that Jesus is fully God and fully human, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life.

• The Atonement: The belief that humanity is separated from God by sin. Jesus was crucified, died, and physically resurrected, paying the ultimate sacrifice to reconcile humanity with God.

• Salvation by Grace: The belief that salvation and forgiveness of sins are gifts of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not by human effort or good works.

• Scriptural Authority: The belief that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and practice.

• The Second Coming: The anticipation that Jesus Christ will return to earth one day to judge the living and the dead and establish His kingdom.

The Implications of "Re-defining" Them

Throughout history, the word re-define has sparked significant debate. Because Christian orthodoxy hinges on specific historical events (such as the physical resurrection of Jesus) and distinct theological claims, altering these boundaries usually results in one of the following:

Theological Modernism/Progressivism: This approach often re-interprets historical doctrines to fit modern, secular worldviews. For example, it might view scriptural miracles as purely metaphorical or reframe Jesus strictly as a moral teacher rather than the divine Savior.

• Hersey: If a redefinition strays too far from the foundational doctrines, traditional church bodies generally consider it a departure from the faith. For instance, denying the divinity of Christ or the reality of the Trinity is historically categorized as heresy.

I will be posting a number of Sermons from some of my favorite Pentecostal Preachers or Churches on this "Pentecost Sunday," celebration, so I hope that you all enjoy them:

From Planet Shakers- Australia:   https://youtu.be/AQAHY6DByyQ

Gateway Church

Link:   https://youtu.be/zZQejlyVakQ

The above Link connects you to a Gateway Sermon on “Pentecost Sunday.”

Daniel Floyd is the new pastor, and I have highly respected the man from his sermons, so this was one of the churches in which I visit frequently. I used to visit “Gateway” when Robert Morris was the pastor years ago, as he was establishing his church.

Later, however, I sort of discerned much covetousness and manipulation from the man and much prejudice as to who was going to be raised up in his church as leaders.

You see, lots of Preachers can never properly perform unless they surround themselves with hundreds of “Yes Men.” Therefore, I quit visiting long before he was ousted as their leader due to his scandal.

Well, like Robert used to do, Daniel spoke a decent sermon today. Nevertheless, he failed to acknowledge that today was “Pentecost Sunday.”

You see, generally when a preacher is against acknowledging the “Holy Spirit” it is because they would much rather preach sermons which allows them to remain in control. Most are afraid to let their congregations know that the “Holy Spirit” ought to be leading the service and not my grand illusions of building another “Kingdom of some man‘s Personality.”

Therefore, I will no longer be attending unless the church either apologizes or  repents.

I really couldn’t believe it though, in an hour and a half there is absolutely no recognition of the Holy Spirit whatsoever, not even a “Hello?”

This is Pentecost Sunday, for “goodness gracious sake.”

Well, then I can only surmise if the leadership refuses to give the Holy Spirit one iota of credit in their house on Pentecost Sunday, then it is a good guess that my friend the “Spirit,” of Jesus Christ, would also be shunned by the “religious” during the rest of the year, as well.

It would be similar as if you were the sons or daughters of some “titans of Industry”  or magnate family from the Industrial Revolution.

Perhaps, from someone like John D. Rockefeller?

AI Overview

John D. Rockefeller (1839–1937) was an American industrialist who founded the Standard Oil Company in 1870. Through aggressive business practices and monopolization, he built a massive empire, controlling roughly 90% of U.S. oil refineries by the 1880s. This made him America’s first billionaire and one of the wealthiest people in history.

So, here it is one of these gentleman's hundredth birthday and after they have supplied the family for decades, to live out their lives in comfort and ease, over and above every other citizen, have been put through the finest schools, never ever worked a day in their lives unless they so chose to do it.. .

Well, they all get together to take Grandpa up to the closest McDonald's and once there serve him a plain old “Cheeseburger, spare the onions please.”

….

Well, Gateway didn’t even offer the third person of the Trinity which is the Holy Ghost, a soggy old McDonald cheeseburger?

Lastly, let me say that there have been so many times where the church will completely ignore any type of suggestion that I recommend or message that I deliver as a spokesperson for God. But you see, this just comes with the territory of being a Prophet who is not out for his own purposes.

In time, most individuals in the church understand that the church doesn't wish to be obedient to God, but autonomous from God. This is why they will completely shun a true prophet or man of God and why he can go fifty years, without ever receiving a penny of support from any other leader in the "Church."

To send the man a dollar bill would be the same as legitimizing the "word of God," which might come out of his mouth. Therefore, they will play down the role of the Holy Spirit in the church.

Nevertheless, none seem to understand this fact that the Holy Spirit is the "Spirit of Jesus." And then they wonder, "Gee, why don't we ever see any real miracles come from God?"

"Oh, I don't know could it be that perhaps you ignore, shun, blaspheme his work, and are too ignorant to trust him?"

Just a thought!
